Unauthorized Brick Kilns Prohibited Across West Garo Hills

The District Magistrate of West Garo Hills, Vibhor Aggarwal, has enacted an immediate ban on all unauthorized brick kilns in the district under Section 163 BNSS, 2023. This action follows directives from the National Green Tribunal (NGT), which requires the closure of brick kilns lacking environmental clearance.
