IndiGo has announced that passengers who experienced major disruptions on December 3, 4 and 5—when the airline suffered a large-scale operational breakdown—will receive vouchers worth ₹10,000. In a post on X, the airline said the one-time vouchers will be valid for 12 months from the date they are issued and can be used for any future IndiGo booking.

The announcement comes even as the carrier continues to cancel several flights on Thursday, following days of turmoil caused by severe crew shortages and other operational challenges.

Reiterating that customer care remains its highest priority, IndiGo said that refunds for cancelled flights have already been processed, with most passengers having received the amount and the remaining refunds expected shortly. For bookings made through travel agents or online travel platforms, the airline stated that the refund process has also been initiated on those channels.

IndiGo added that it may not have complete contact details for all affected travellers and urged them to email customer.experience@goindigo.in so the airline can assist them without delay.
