As October draws to a close, car enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to in November with several exciting SUV launches in India. The month kicks off with the new-generation Hyundai Venue, followed by the return of the iconic Tata Sierra. Additionally, Tata Motors will introduce petrol versions of the Safari and Harrier, featuring the company’s newly developed 1.5-litre turbocharged engine.
The 2025 Hyundai Venue, launching on November 4, marks a major update for the sub-compact SUV. It receives a refreshed design across the front, side, and rear, along with an upgraded interior featuring a new layout, premium materials, and additional features. The powertrain largely remains the same, with the key addition being a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox for the diesel variant.
The Tata Sierra, first revealed as a concept at the 2023 Auto Expo, is making a nostalgic comeback with its signature ‘Alpine window’ design blended with modern styling. It will be offered in both ICE and EV variants, with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol or diesel engine paired with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DCT automatic transmission.
The Safari and Harrier petrol models will adopt the same 1.5-litre engine, without design or interior changes, expanding Tata’s petrol SUV lineup.
