Not Satya Nadella, but this CEO is the richest Indian professional manager

According to the Hurun India Rich List 2025, Jayshree Ullal has emerged as the richest Indian professional manager, surpassing prominent tech leaders like Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella. She has also claimed the title of the wealthiest Indian woman on the list, overtaking Radha Vembu of Zoho and Falguni Nayar of Nykaa.

Jayshree Ullal, President and CEO of Arista Networks since 2008, has a reported net worth of ₹50,170 crore. This puts her far ahead of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who ranks second with ₹9,770 crore, while Sundar Pichai holds the seventh spot with ₹5,810 crore. Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo is at number eight with ₹5,130 crore.

Ullal owns a 3% stake in Arista Networks, whose valuation soared to $7 billion in 2024, significantly boosting her wealth. Based in San Francisco, she is widely recognised for her leadership in transforming Arista into a top-tier global networking company. Born in London and raised in New Delhi, Ullal earned her BS in electrical engineering from San Francisco State University and a master’s degree from Santa Clara University.
