Mahindra & Mahindra is currently testing several upcoming models, with the XUV700 facelift being one of the most anticipated. Since its debut in 2021, the D-segment SUV has seen strong success, but an update is now due. The latest spy shots of the test mule offer a closer look at the upcoming changes.
The camouflaged prototype showcases a redesigned grille, confirming this variant as an ICE model. The headlamps also appear updated, with likely refinements to the C-shaped DRLs, though this detail remains partially hidden. Notable features include front parking sensors and a bonnet similar to the current version. The side profile largely mirrors the existing model but now features a fresh alloy wheel design, flush pop-out door handles, and updated body cladding.
At the rear, although the taillights are covered, previous images suggest they remain unchanged. Visible updates include a shark-fin antenna, rear spoiler, washer, wiper, and a redesigned bumper. Inside, the facelift will introduce a triple-screen dashboard, similar to the XUV.e9 and XUV.e7 EVs. The SUV will switch from Sony to Harman Kardon audio with 16 speakers and 1400W output. Mahindra may also include ADAS Level-2+ with auto-parking. Powertrain options are expected to remain the same—2.0L turbo petrol and 2.2L diesel, paired with 6-speed manual or automatic gearboxes.
