Aluminium futures upgrade: New deals push fuel prices higher

New Delhi: Aluminium prices rose 35 paise to Rs 253.15 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as speculators created new deals amid a positive trend in the spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium contract for September delivery rose 35 paise, or 0.14 percent, to Rs 253.15 per kg in a business turnover of 3,998 lots.

Analysts said fresh buying by traders amid demand from consumer industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
