Pernod Ricard India is strengthening its premiumisation strategy by launching two new whiskies: Royal Stag Double Dark Peaty Whisky and Blenders Pride Four Elements Premium Whisky. This move supports the company’s goal to triple its revenue over the next decade by focusing on premium products and innovation in India.
Building on the success of Longitude 77, India’s first Single Malt by Pernod Ricard, these new whiskies aim to capture the growing demand for sophisticated flavors among Indian consumers, who often prefer imported whiskies for premium experiences. Blenders Pride Four Elements is a unique blend of four Scotch malts and Indian grain spirits representing Air, Water, Fire, and Earth, featuring eye-catching packaging by LOVE International. Royal Stag Double Dark offers a smoky, peaty profile with double-distilled Scotch malts aged in charred oak barrels, paired with modern packaging by FCB India.
Both launches emphasize sustainability with minimal packaging, aligning with Pernod Ricard’s eco-friendly “Good Times From a Good Place” initiative. The rollout will start regionally and expand across India by December 2024. These products aim to broaden their categories by offering distinct flavors and premium experiences to innovative whisky drinkers.
