Astrologer, Youtuber claim tribals practice human sacrifice in Meghalaya, complaint filed

An activist has complained to the police against a YouTuber and an astrologer who reportedly claimed in a post that tribals in Meghalaya still practice human sacrifice. A police officer said a case has been registered in this regard.

The complaint was filed by social activist Enlang, who also submitted a petition to the National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST), urging it to take immediate action. According to Enlang, the defamatory and inflammatory content not only misrepresents the tribal people of Meghalaya but also poses a serious threat to communal harmony.
