Gold futures prices rose: Prices rise by Rs 220 to Rs 96,388 per 10 grams

New Delhi, May 9: Gold prices on Friday rose by Rs 220 to Rs 96,388 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh deals amid strong spot demand.
Gold contracts for June delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 220, or 0.23 percent, to Rs 96,388 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 14,385 lots.
Analysts said fresh deals by participants led to the rise in gold prices.
Globally, gold futures in New York rose 0.55 percent to $3,323.89 an ounce.
