Avani Institute of Design, based in Kerala, is intensifying its focus on Northeast India with the launch of its Avani Reach Program, aimed at nurturing young talent in architecture. With architecture becoming an increasingly popular career choice in the region, Avani has seen a rise in applications from Northeast India for its five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program. Admissions for the 2025–26 academic year are now open, with applications available on the Institute’s official website.

The Avani Reach Program, already successful in cities like Bangalore, Trivandrum, and Coimbatore, will visit Northeastern cities in 2025 to engage high school and higher secondary students. The program aims to inspire the next generation of architects by showcasing architecture as a means of creative expression and community development.

Ar. Tony Joseph, Chairman and Principal of the Institute, highlighted the growing interest in architecture from students in Sikkim and other Northeastern states, noting the region’s immense creative potential. The demand for architectural education is also increasing, with local students seeking opportunities to study at leading design institutions. This trend reflects the region’s growing interest in creative disciplines and Avani’s commitment to supporting this emerging market, offering a platform for young architects to thrive.
