Sensodyne sets Guinness World Record, expands reach with affordable oral care solutions

Sensodyne, a leading oral care brand from Haleon, has set a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ for the most online dental screening tests completed in 24 hours. Conducted at MahaKumbh 2025, the record-breaking initiative saw 27,396 individuals undergoing dental check-ups in a single day, marking a significant step in promoting proactive oral care in India.

The screenings were facilitated by over 30 Indian Dental Association (IDA) dentists and a dedicated team of 200+ promoters, leveraging mobile technology in collaboration with A Dental Friend and Smilo. The event also marked the launch of Sensodyne’s ₹20 small toothpaste pack, aimed at making sensitivity protection more affordable and accessible. Speaking on the initiative, Kishlay Seth, Category Lead – Oral Health, Haleon India Subcontinent, said, “Setting this record is not just about numbers but about creating awareness and impact. We are committed to driving education through World Oral Health Month and offering free digital dental check-ups to make oral healthcare accessible to all.”

Dr. Ashok Dhoble, Hon. Secretary General of IDA, praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of early detection and preventive care. Sensodyne’s World Oral Health Day campaign, set for March 20, will integrate education, technology, and accessibility through digital outreach, influencer collaborations, and corporate health camps.
