ELECRAMA 2025 showcases AI, automation & sustainability as 20 startups compete

Day 4 of ELECRAMA 2025 witnessed the highly anticipated 3rd Edition of Electraverse Sparks, IEEMA’s flagship startup program, where 20 promising startups presented their groundbreaking innovations in energy, electronics, AI, automation, and sustainability. The event provided a competitive platform for early-stage and late-stage startups to showcase cutting-edge solutions poised to transform the industry.

The World Utility Summit concluded with Vijay Mittal (IOFS), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, highlighting India’s rapidly growing energy demand. He emphasized the importance of domestic manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and green energy adoption to meet national goals. Meanwhile, Etechnxt, a premier forum on emerging technologies, explored AI-driven smart grids, IoT solutions, and blockchain applications in energy markets.

Electraverse Sparks featured impressive startup solutions, particularly in sensor systems, autonomous navigation, and smart energy management. Winners in the early-stage category included Hydrogen Innovations Pvt Ltd, VimanoInc, and UniversallyGreen Technology Pvt Ltd, while C Electric Automotive Drives Pvt Ltd., Fitsol Supply Chain Solutions Pvt Ltd., and Multi Nano Sense Technologies Pvt Ltd won in the late-stage segment. These startups will gain funding opportunities and investor access to scale their businesses. The Women in Power Conclave brought together industry leaders such as Vera Silva (CSO & CTO, GE Vernova), Laxmi Singh (Commissioner of Police, UP), and BaniVarma (Director, BHEL). They highlighted the growing role of women entrepreneurs in the power sector, emphasizing the need for inclusivity and mentorship opportunities.

The advancements unveiled at ELECRAMA 2025 resonate with the Shillong market, where businesses are increasingly adopting renewable energy solutions and AI-integrated automation to improve energy efficiency. The demand for smart grids and sensor-based energy management systems is rising, positioning Shillong as a key regional market for such transformative technologies.
