Sajjan Jindal named ‘Business Leader of the Decade’ as JSW Group strengthens market position

Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of JSW Group, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Business Leader of the Decade’ at the 15th AIMA Managing India Awards, recognizing his role in shaping India’s industrial and economic landscape.

The award was presented in the presence of Union Minister of Education DharmendraPradhan and Minister of State for Commerce and Industry JitinPrasada. YezdiNagporewalla, CEO of KPMG India, read the citation, acknowledging Jindal’s contributions to India’s infrastructure modernization and global market expansion.

Under Jindal’s leadership, JSW Group has doubled its revenues to $24 billion and expanded steel production capacity to 39 million tonnes annually. The conglomerate has also strengthened its presence in renewable energy, cement, and infrastructure, emerging as India’s second-largest private port operator. Additionally, its strategic ventures into electric vehicles and military drones position JSW for long-term growth in emerging industries.
