The Indian Navy is organizing a motorcycle expedition to the Northeastern states from October 14 to October 30. It intends to raise maritime awareness in these countries and engage youth and civil society. The Navy undertook similar effective efforts in the Northeast in 2022 and Leh/Ladakh in 2023. The present project in three Northeastern states, Meghalaya, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh aims to promote the Indian Navy. Also raise awareness in schools and colleges about career options in the Indian Navy, particularly the Agnipath Scheme.

The drive also promotes Nari Shakti by bringing together female officers and spouses, as well as interacting with navy veterans and Veer Naris in the region. The 15-day mission included 40 Indian Naval personnel, including officers, sailors, and family members. The drive would be nearly 2,500 kilometers long, passing through cities in Meghalaya, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh. The Indian Navy is grateful to M/S TVS Motor Company for providing vehicle support for this outreach campaign.
