In an inspiring showcase of creativity and determination, Samsung India has announced the winners of its ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2024’ competition, celebrating the ingenuity of young minds tackling real-world challenges. Team Eco Tech Innovator, hailing from Golaghat, Assam, received the Community Champion award in the School Track for their innovative approach to ensuring equitable access to potable water, earning a seed grant of INR 25 lakh. Similarly, Team METAL from Udupi, Karnataka, emerged as the Environment Champion in the Youth Track with their groundbreaking technology for arsenic removal from groundwater, securing a grant of INR 50 lakh for incubation at IIT-Delhi.
The competition also recognized participants with special awards, including Goodwill and Social Media Champion Awards, emphasizing the importance of community engagement in effecting change. Each of the ten finalist teams walked away with INR 1 lakh and certificates, a testament to their hard work and innovative spirit.
