Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is commemorating the 25th edition of its pioneering TCS Rural IT Quiz, in partnership with the Department of Electronics, IT, BT, and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka. As a highlight of the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2024, this iconic quiz continues to make waves, celebrated for its role in elevating IT education among rural students. Recognized by the Limca Book of Records, it stands as the first IT quiz designed specifically for India’s rural areas.

This year’s quiz invites students from Classes 8 to 12 in smaller towns and districts, excluding city corporation areas, to test their knowledge through online and physical rounds. Topics will span AI, cloud computing, and the transformative effects of IT on sectors such as banking and education.

In Shillong, the quiz represents a golden opportunity for students in the northeastern region to delve into the world of technology. With the region’s growing focus on tech education, this initiative is expected to spark enthusiasm and offer valuable exposure, potentially shaping future tech leaders. Students can register before October 1, 2024, at TCS Rural IT Quiz Registration.
