Assam Police have recently been handling numerous instances of illegal infiltration concerning border security with effectiveness. Following a pre-dawn operation last week, the police detained several Bangladeshi nationals who were trying to enter Assam covertly. Afroja Jahirul Sardar, Tumpa Haque, Ridoy Sk, Akhi Sk, and Lakhipur Akhtar were the names of the people who were caught; they were thrown back across the border right away.

In a late-night operation on August 28, the Karimganj police detained three additional Bangladeshi nationals who were attempting to enter the country illegally: Md. Zubair Sheikh, Juel Sheikh, and Ruma Khatun. These individuals were returned to Bangladesh as well. These latest operations show how Assam Police is still keeping an eye out and taking proactive measures to guard the border and stop illegal entry.
