Kiyan joins Chennaiyin FC on a 3-year deal. Kian, the son of legendary footballer Jamshid Nasiri, used to play for the Mohun Bagan junior team at a young age. After an eye-catching performance in the academy, he got a chance on the senior team as well. In the 2022 ISL derby, Kiyan scored a hat-trick against the arch-rivals as a super-sub.

He almost single-handedly won the losing match. Still, he gave several eye-catching performances. I even received an award named after Subhash Bhowmick. But recently, he was not getting regular opportunities at the star-studded Mohun Bagan. In the last season, he got a chance to enter the field 16 times in all. Most of them change. Scored one goal in those 16 matches. According to sources, Jamshid Putra left the green-maroon with the aim of playing on the first team regularly. Kean signed a three-year contract with Chennaiyin FC.

Not only Kian, but another young footballer, Ham, also leaves Mohun Bagan. The talented young footballer also played on the green-maroon reserve team last season. Few have a chance on the first team.
