According to an airport official who spoke to PTI, the same flight left Shillong Airport with 12 departing passengers for Delhi Airport in the nation’s capital.SpiceJet, an inexpensive airline based in India, has started offering direct flights from Delhi to Shillong, the capital of Meghalya, in Northeast India. The airline said that the Delhi-Shillong route will run every two weeks, on Mondays and Fridays. On Friday, February 24, 2023, the first aircraft carrying 18 people touched down at the Shillong Airport from the Delhi International Airport.
An airport official informed PTI that the same flight, carrying 12 outgoing passengers, departed from Shillong Airport and arrived at Delhi Airport, the nation’s capital.
SpiceJet, following Indigo and Alliance Air, is now the third airline to launch regular flights from Shillong. Fly Big Airlines was formerly given the route under the UDAN Scheme (Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik).
