Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif’s starrer ‘Merry Christmas’, produced by Kewal Garg, Ramesh Taurani, Sanjay Routray and Jaya Taurani and directed by Sriram Raghavan had a slow start at the box office and is continuing to be steady in theatres.
Though the movie experienced a drop in collection on January 15, it still continues to attract audience to theatres. In 4 days, ‘Merry Christmas’ collected Rs 11 crore net in India.
IndiaToday.in reviewer rated ‘Merry Christmas’ 3.5 out of 5 stars and wrote, ” The film tells the story of two strangers – Albert (Vijay) and Maria (Katrina Kaif) – who unknowingly cross paths and are sucked into a vortex of unfortunate events. You know you are in for a roller-coaster ride when it’s a Sriram Raghavan film and ‘Merry Christmas’ doesn’t disappoint. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, guessing and anticipating Albert and Maria’s next move.”
