Two students of Don Bosco University, Tepesia in Assam’s Kamrup metro district, died on the spot and sustained critical injuries when a motorcycle collided with a truck on the Guwahati-Shillong road in Joraba today.
The accident took place around 3 pm when the motorcycle bearing registration number AS 01EJ 7870 collided with a truck registered as NL 01AE 1887 on its way from Sonapur to Guwahati.
Jorabat Traffic Police quickly responded to the spot, taking the injured students to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for emergency treatment.
The two deceased have been identified as Kethosetuo M, a resident of Nagaland and Shreyan Roy, a resident of Assam. The third student, identified as Kethosetuo Kratsutsu from Nagaland, is currently undergoing treatment at Guwahati Medical College and Hospital for his injuries.
