The Moolamylliang Village will kick off its Christmas festival of lights on December 15

Jowai: The Moolamylliang Village Dorbar, East Jaintia Hills district will kick off its Christmas festival of lights on  December 15  where Dr WR Kharlukhi, MP Rajya Sabha Meghalaya Shillong will be the Chief Guest and Santa Marry Shylla, MLA 5-Sutnga Saipung will be the guest of honour to make it very special. To brighten up the village and bring the festive spirit of Christmas the string lights along with different lightings have been prepared. Actually this will go on till the 3rd of January next year as the lights will be lit every evening from 5 pm to 12 midnight. A Christmas concert will be organized on the evening of December 22, which will be taken part by the different bands.

 

Actually in Meghalaya Christmas is very important festival and people there celebrate it with joy. As we know in India we celebrate all festival and for us celebration is very important. If you see apart from whatever our background is but still we can celebrate festival like Christmas and enjoy it. In reality it is good to see that government is doing so much for Christmas festival and make it a very special moment for people.
